We decided before we left New York in the fall that we would drive home for the holidays to spend Emmalyn's first Christmas with her and the kids. Ray drove straight through (20 hours, which we swore we would never do again). Fortunately the weather cooperated for us and we spent five wonderful days at Lori & Greg's. We could not get enough of our grandma and grandpa fix and spent the whole time with a camera in our hands.
While we were there Emmalyn had her first photo shoot as well.
We were so glad we went home because we realized that we could never last six months without seeing our little sweetheart! Little did we know that we would turn around and drive back to New York on New Year's Day!
